Hey all,

Just starting to get into Morel hunting up in Bemidji, not looking for anyone's spots just could use some advice where to start. Not sure if you are aloud to pick in the state parks or not but if so I'm guessing that will be where I start out. Any help is appreciated

Better yet, just pick up a plat book and look for some county or state land. They are popping all over. Not sure if its legal to forage in state parks though. Thousands of other acres that never get hit. Load up a wheeler and take a drive. Look for the little holes that hold water in the spring or slow run offs, a valley between 2 saddles is a good spot. Picked a couple hundred in valley last spring. We had over 600 last year and 400 came over memorial weekend.
