05 Foreman won't start

2005 Foreman 2x2 Manual Shift

Last ran Dec. 2013

Stored in semi heated shed over winter

Spins over, has spark

Put in new plug anyway

Fuel flow to carb

Tried removing plug and putting gas in cylinder, still no pop.

Tried pumping primer

Still just spins over.

Anyone ideas what else I could try? Thanks

It has spark & is getting gas then I would check the kill switch.

Did you recharge the battery yet? My 06 Rubicon used to turn over and not start after I was done plowing snow...then I would use the pull rope and it would fire right up. It sounded like it was turning over plenty fast, but I got the recommendation here that I should get a new battery and run a battery tender because I was sucking up too much juice with my winch - since doing that, I've never had an issue.

Like guy said, recharge the battery, had the same problem on a king quad.

Is the carb clean? If you have fuel and spark, it should run. Unless you have valves that do not seat properly/valve lash etc. Is the spark plug wet after you try to start it? Make sure it is getting fuel. If it's wet, then it's either fouled or you have other problems like valves, or valve/cam timing.

Had a low battery on an older Honda, no start, trickle charged it a while, popped right off!!! Good luck jps

Also, Check your ignition fuses....
