My friends Mark Dahlquist and Kirk Shatner were in the area this weekend for Trapfest so we went fishing together. Mark and Kirk are from the Twin Cities.

Thanks!*** is anglers of all methods from the 4 states that have the driftless area in them.

Kirk had never fished the area before so we let him have first shot at the hole. Kirk had a small jig head on with a black gulp minnow on that looked like a mister twister.

It only took Kirk two casts to land this beautiful 22 inch small stream brown. Mark netted the fish for Kirk and I took the photos.
