Elite 5 DSI

Finally was able to use the Elite 5 DSI for open water. over all very pleased with the unit although i do have some concerns/help needed.

i cant seem to get a clear picture on the down scan screens, alwasy seems pixely... not crisp unlike videos ive seen..

also, does anyone know if there is a way to slow the screen scroll? on my older unit i was able to slow it down, however we were doing .5mph and it was just flying through...

You just need to find the right menu screen to change scroll speed.

Lowrance has software emulators for there products which helps with shorting the learning curve for new units. Easier to do it at the comfort of your home computer instead of when you're trying to fish bouncing around the lake.

I just ordered an Elite 7 DSI combo unit to replace one of my older units. Seems like a really nice piece of equipment for the money.
