jentz
I haven't read back before this page,BUT I get the gist of it.At one time the stickers were almost unremovable! then they went soso. Now they are so cheaply made,I wonder if its a way to get more $$ ? are they that sly?? I couldn't get one to stick on a polypropylene kayak.Think thats the material its made of? I read lots and questioned the DNR.Their reply was drill out the yak and mount sticker holders.I bought it for the sleek design I said! to bad they said! the tag needs to be displayed. But yet I asked why after cleaning a aluminum canoe they only lasted 3 weeks after going through a rice bed then tore and peeled off.I was then told to use clear tape over the stickers. Heck I could tape a paper one on!
leechlake
5-6 years ago I painted a 12' Lund camo color. We hadn't used the boat for about 5 years and I remember having fits trying to get the dang stickers off. It was like they were baked on from years of sitting in the sun. Those were the days!
