I just received a Lowrance lcx-15mt depth finder with GPS. I have a small boat with no battery. I am having a hard time deciding what size of battery to use if I'm only going to run the depth finder off of it. Will a lawn and garden 12V work? What about my Vexilar battery? Don't really want to add too much weight, but I want the depth finder to work properly and for about 6 hrs at a time. Thanks for the advice!
