2005 F150 "Using" oil

Recommended Posts

Using, burning whichever you'd like to use...

Typically I'm putting in a QT every 2-3k.

I know it's burning oil at startup but after that I do not notice any smoke out the tail pipe. I've been told to replace the PCV valve, however I've also been told to do that on this model/make/year I need to replace the valve cover in whole since the PCV is built in...[PoorWordUsage].

Any suggestions from you Ford guys?

thanks
