Our Lake Toho trophy catches

My wife and I went fishing in Florida on Lake Toho and caught our biggest largemouth ever. We fished two mornings, the first day using only artificial and the second day using live shiners. My personal best is a 10lb 9oz bass, caught using live shiner. I didn't catch any fish on day one using artificial.

My wife's biggest and personal best catch, 8.25 lbs, caught using swim jig. She caught the most fish combined for the two days. She caught over 40lbs of fish on day one using swim jig only, which she has never used one before! If she was in a tournament she would've had a bag weight at least 30 lbs. She out fished me and the guide, she had the touch. On day 2 she continued her magic and caught another 8lb fish.

We had a blast catching the fish and are looking into getting replicas of the fish. Never know if we'll ever catch fish this big again.

Awesome fish! I have always wanted to fish Lake Toho. My dad was a guide on Toho and Kississmee back in the 80's. Never got a chance to make the trip down there with him. I do however have his 12lbs 4oz mount in my basement :-) Good thing to remember him by.
