The Mn.DNR has that posted on their site.Look it up,Then verify with them at their main office using the contact us link.Copy it print it out and carry it with you if your close to the minimum.

.220 caliber. Best to call DNR or gun dealer to clarify a hand gun caliber that is equal or larger than that. Best to you.

Must also be centerfire. Rimfire is not allowed.

There used to be a minimum length of the round (I think it was 1.285") as well but that has since disappeared from the regs.
