Anyone know if Amsoil changed the name, or at least the carton label, of their Injector oil to HP Marine 2 Stroke Oil? Just want to make sure I get the right stuff. Thanks

Good call Wish. They don't say anything about Injector now being called HP Marine 2 Stroke, but it what they now call out to use on my motor, and they don't appear to offer Injector anymore.

Yes, there have been some name and product changes in the AMSOIL Marine injector oils.

HP Marine is a relabel of what used to be HP Injector. This is the premium 2-stroke marine product for injector or 50-1 premix uses. Former product code was HPI, it is now HPM. This oil has been tested for the Evinrude XD-100 spec (data on the AMSOIL site product pages).

The new product out is Syn 2-stroke Injector Oil, product code AIO. This is for oil injection or 50-1 mix also, but a slightly lesser performance than HPN with a little lower price. Not for the XD-100 tuned evinrudes. (Also suitable for 2-stroke sleds as a lesser performance than Interceptor AIT.)
