Navionics ? (Tried to figure on my own, no luck.)

How do you turn off, or ensure your saved spots are not made public?

Make sure ' community edits' is off and you are good to go.

Also, I have always used the "favorites" markers. I don't believe that those are shared. If they are, you all have all my stuff! haha

Sorry to crash this thread, but I have another question. How do you tell your app to take you to one of your saved fishing spots? You know like how you can have your GPS take you to one of your Waypoints.

If you click on "marker" those spots/icons are not shared. But if you click on "edit map" and use those icons those become community data

Try and click on Route the click Manuel Route then tap on your location then tap on the waypoint you want to go to then tap go. If you go to the Archive from you can find all your saved tracks, routes, markers etc...

I have a Garmin Lakemaster chip for a Garmin Nuvi GPS, anyone have an idea if that chip will work in the 62s? If so I'm thinking about picking on of these up.

I spoke to Garmin CS last week about this and he concluded after doing some research that he could neither confirm nor deny whether it (2007 LM chip from my H2O) would work. Given that you have a Garmin chip, my bet is it works.

I just purchased the 62s and decided to get the Midwest Fishing Guide Garmin chip as well since I'm leaving for LOTW Fri and didn't want to chance not having a chip. Besides, is $100 every 7 years REALLY that bad of an investment? I think not!
