inavx on ipad

I bought the inavx on my ipad . am headed to devils lake & did not have nd chip for my gps. the app shows devils lake but I cant find it. says it in golf of mexico area but I am not educated enough to figure it out. can only seem to get southern parts of golf. I did get it up once but got no depth readings. do I need to be there or am I just an one-who-thinks-I-am-silly. any help appreciated. tried reading about it but cant make any sense out of it.

I'll assume your phone auto corrected and you really typed Navionics. You will need to go to click Menu, down load map, scroll over to find Devils Lake and place a box around it. Then download the map. After you do that you should see the contours when you zoom in.
