Well, look's now like if you let up on the gas at all to get a run, the cars close so fast you will take yourself out and many others.

Look's to me like NASCAR has now turned the plate tracks into a demo derby, even worse than before.

Every year we have to change the car, the rules and the points system.

I have been a faithful watcher for many years but last year I really lost interest. Now it look's like I do not even know how much I will even bother to watch at all.

If NASCAR believes thier fans are leaving, keep doing what you are and it will get worse.

With any luck Kenseth learned his lesson and now understands that he can't block like he usually does. What a dope.

If the new package allows them to leave the draft and make a pass at these plate tracks then I'm all for it. Nobody wants to watch a line of cars running around the top of the track and maybe this will help mitigate that to a degree. The drivers will just have to understand that if a car is coming they better not pull down to block because it'll end up being a wreck if they do. It sounds like most figured that out last night but the Duels will have a lot more drivers who haven't really "raced" with this configuration yet. Could make for another wreckfest, but then again, they'll be racing their 500 cars so maybe they'll be more cautious. Ha!

The track is starting to come back after the repave a few years ago too. No more holding it wide open around the corners unless you have a real good handling car.

I actually thought last year's racing as a whole was much better than the few years that preceded it.

The plate tracks though, that's another story, they have sure been changing a lot, I liked the big packs, hate the straight line around the top with no passing and then a five lap wreck fest at the end... Don't know what the answer for them is though, they obviously are too big and fast to run unrestricted or we'll be killing drivers, crewmembers and fans with every wreck. Can't have that.
