Any good places to catch Smallies on a fly rod?

I'm new here, great site, great info for us MN fishermen/women.

My cousin's husband has gotten me interested in fly fishing again. I am wondering if anyone here has any advice on some nice areas around the metro (willing to drive an hour or so) where we can toss a few flies and hopefully hook in to some fish.
