Anybody doing Game Farms lately?

Getting cabin fever pretty bad. Been fishing but going to get the dogs out to one of the game farms - and with my two boys. Temps this weekend are suppose to be in the 20's.

Question: Anybody doing it and how has it been with the deep snow? Probably looking at Baders in Federal Dam up by Leech.

did make it out. dogs worked great. my boys shot well. Great time...snow was somewhat deep...but manageable. pheasants and chuckers.

I would love more info, how much was it, where did you go, how long did you hunt? I've never been to a game farm before but am very interested in trying one. Send me a pm if you would . Thank you for any info

The game farm I am a member of is closed because there is no cover, way too much snow, depressing!! Dog is wanting to get out and so am I. Come on warm temps, doesnt look like much thawing in the future, dang!

I went out to one for the first time yesterday in the nice weather, got some wet feet but it was pretty fun. Got a new dog and was the first chance to put him to work. He did suprisingly well, Heres to wishing for a drier nesting season! (beers clinking)

Was thinking of going but gonna wait for this snow to melt off, which I'm sure will be quick looking at the forecast. Called the game farm I go to and he is planning on staying open this whole month by the look of the weather

go check out sandpines up in avon. His cover is still really good and i know he still has plenty of birds.

Made it out yesterday to gold meadows in cold spring. Dog did awesome got all the birds and weather wasn't to bad after the rain quit. Sounds like his last hunts will be next weekend. Felt good to get out and chase a few birds again
