Honda Auger Speed

I like my Honda SM, but man is this thing slow. Is there any way to get more rpms out of it?

Anyone else have this complaint or did I just get a dud?

It starts and runs great, I love not having to mix oil or the smell of 2 stroke.

Its a 4 stroke, what did you expect? I have 2 friends now that have them, and they have grown on me. They start fine, but they are slow. The shaver blades cut as fast as my 2 stroke with chipper blades, give or take. I'll still take my 2 stroke any day.

You might be able to get something by playing around with the throttle cable. Worked on my pro4lite
