Track slack how much??

It really depends on what kind of sled, new or old track, warm or cold all come into play. As a general rule 1/2 to 3/4 space between the slides and the track hanging with no weight. With 10 lbs maybe 1 to 1 1/2 .

I like to run them on the loose side to reduce slide wear and reduce drag. The main thing is to keep it aligned straight and if it ratchets on acceleration tighten it up a bit more. Too tight is hard on everything.
