Gopher's Vs Huskies

Boy, throught a period and a half, the Huskie even though tied, are giving the Gopher's more than they want.

The Gopher's are getting beat in every aspect but the score.

Looks like they are tired or just plain slow and thier passing is terrible.

Doubt Wilcox can take 45 plus shots and keep the puck out of the net.

If the goph's want to win, they need to pick it up and fast.

The gophers have been sleep walking through their games the last several weeks. St clown was the toughest test they have faced in that time. The gophers turned it on and were able to get 2 ppg which has been a major issue for them this year. They need to get that going to have any hopes in March.

The huskies are a well coached team and certainly improved leadership over those years of Dahl. Johnny brodzinsky is dang good.

Fasching was a beast though too for the gophers. The freshman on this team have been huge all year.

Just got back from the Game! Nail bitter! I really do hate to see a game end in Shootouts! frown

Agreed, thats no way to loose after a hard fought battle.

They should just go into OT untill it is settled.

The officiating was terrible then the whining from both coaches was pathetic. You had umd taking dives with one leading to a 5 min disqualification major to Marshall. Total bee ess call. There were others but that was the most notable.

Farley acted like he was decapitated then comes back and scores showing no ill effects? Funny.

MN has some great hockey teams!

Hard to pick just one to chear for.

That is kind of where we are. We watched both games on Sat. Son went to Mankato and daughter went to St Cloud. Was kind of pulling for the Mav's but even though they out shot the Huskys they gave the game away in panlites! On the second game we were pulling for the under-Bulldogs! wink It was a fun day of Hockey all around! smile

It's sad when the ref's try to decide a finish in a game with a few horrendus calls. The call on Marshall was very sad.

Hey don't blame Farley for playing his heart out. I like the little guy, he did well for his team the ref's have to call the game! wink

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
