olbaidhh
I purchased a PRO 4 auger a few years back, this last trip for no reason what so ever... this little aluminum tube from the regulator to the carb just cracked in half. Bad deal but no problem, I did some research and found this part has been upgraded. Here IS the problem... I cant find the part on there "parts" HSOforum. I have spent 4 hours on the phone over 2 days trying to get in touch with anyone who can help me. I finally left a message 2 days later someone calls me back "Bill" ....of course I missed the call and no direct number to get in touch with Bill. I have been on hold or doing the tree dance for 3 hours this morning as well. Do they have 1 guy answering the phone... ? I would like to get this fixed for the weekend but that is looking like there is no way. As a test I called StrikeMaster... 'Im on the line with them in minutes. Love the auger but not digg'in the customer service. Anyone have an idea how I can get the part or get them on the horn? Oh and I have sent emails as well. Sea Hage
did you try contacting a service center ? there are several listed on the Jiffy web site
mtbucket
If you have the aluminum tube, you have a generation 1 type fuel delivery system. The part number is 4342 for the assembly. They replaced mine free after it failed at 1 1/2 years old. I seem to recall that they also sent me a new rubber hose, too. Their service centers probably have it in stock. I reached them by phone easily, but that was a year or two ago.
mtbucket
I dug out the old packing slip and it looks like the aluminum tube is part number 4343. They also sent me the fuel delivery system, part number 4342, which is the rubber hose and regulator.
shamus
Like others have said, don't bother with calling their customer service center because when I tried I was on hold forever and never did get through to anyone. When I had a problem with the fuel delivery system on my pro4 (gen 3) I called every service center within a 50 mile radius until I found the one with the part/service time I was looking for (had the part in stock/same day service). Most of the service guys I talked with had to order the fuel delivery part from Jiffy and you'd get your auger back in 1-3 weeks. Good luck

buck_eye_man
Try sending an email to the customer service people at Jiffy. It worked a lot better that way for me. I, like you, spent hours on hold before sending an email. Within 12 hours, I had a response.
traveler
strange...I had the rubber hose rupture on mine a couple weeks ago and got them on the phone easily first try. They sent it out quickly (charged me for it...I've heard some they've replaced for free). First time out, it was leaking (poor install I think...by me) and in taking it apart on the ice I managed to break the aluminum tube you're talking about...grrrr. Another phone call answered right away, and another part sent (and charged for) and I was back in business. I called at 7:30 in the morning...maybe that helped?
