sweeper33
Looking for suggestions on an underwater camera that is easily compatible to hooking up to my TV in the permanent house. I have heard of complaints that many times the picture quality is not that great when it shows up on the TV. Thanks in advance!
brianh
I have a Marcum 825sd, jack on the back of the screen. Flat screen on the wall. Very easy to hook up. Fish on one TV, Jeopardy on the other one.
chris_gillespie
Consider the Vexilar FISHphone. It has a video output jack. Here’s mine in action.
walleye44
They first are talking about the Micro, but like 1 minute in they show there Tv unit. AVMulti-Vu Complete Camera System
KoltRinger
We have used just about every camera on the market and having the fish show up on a larger screen is a lot more fun than trying to watch on a smaller screen. Have not had too many issues with picture quality, seems to be the clearer the water the better the picture!
MNfan
So the Aqua Micro will work on the big tv also?
walleye44
So the Aqua Micro will work on the big tv also? The Micro & Micro II do not have video out capability. Micro Plus, Micro Plus DVR & the 5 have video out on the charging cord with the RCA cable (yellow).
Whoaru99
I have heard of complaints that many times the picture quality is not that great when it shows up on the TV. Thanks in advance! That's certainly possible. The resolution of the cameras isn't real high so when you spread those pictures over a large area it's possible it won't look very good. The larger the area, typically the worse it will look. That said, the quality of upscaling in flat screen TVs can/does vary.
RiverDewey
Even the older cabelas 5" and 7" B/W camera/monitors have a composite video output. It is on the back of the monitor. You just need to be able to input composite video in to your TV. It does look nicer in color though...
