AntlerHandler
Hey guys, Just curious what everyone's plans are for the shed season this year. I am located in Bemidji, MN and my dad killed a buck during muzzle loader season that had already shed one side of his rack. When he shot it, the other side fell off! Heard of two brothers who shed hunt about 19 miles east of here that have already picked up 13 sheds!! Can't wait to get on the board. Also, what are everyone's thoughts on the harsh winter thus far? I imagine this will make for an early dropping season this year.
certified jumbo
The shed hunting thread dried up about two years ago on the forums. A few posts here and there now. 2 reasons. 1. More competition 2. Fewer bucks in mn.And yes. The shed season is off to a blazing start. Lots of sheds have been found already this year...... BuckSutherland
Yep, the deer are already stressed to the max so you guys be sure to get out there and push them around in the deep snow so you can find a few sheds. Sounds like a real good idea to me.
Coach1310
Good to have you trolling in every forum Buck. If I see a deer on he road I will make sure to not look.... Wouldn't want to stress your deer.

AntlerHandler
BuckSutherland, your hysterical reaction on here is pretty sad. The guys who picked up the 13 sheds picked them all up over a feed pile- not pressuring and chasing these deer to their death beds. This is a simple conversation about shed hunting, if it bothers you, don't look at it- or if you have some input, add it like a mature adult. Anyways, I took a drive yesterday to do a little scouting around here and noticed a lot of standing corn from the roads. I am going to be keying in on these places come spring. Getting permission will be a challenge as most people around here are deer hunters but there is also a lot of public ground so I will be trying to locate public ground near the corn fields. I am going to be remembering where the deer are now and focus my efforts in these spots come spring.
BuckSutherland
I did add some non-hysterical, adult input. If you don't like it you can ignore me. Apparently you are incapable of simple math.If it is simple as putting out a feed pile why don't you do it too and bring them right to you?? Then you wouldnt have to worry about getting permission.
