Polaris 800 efi

So what are the opinions on this beast coming out on the market. 800 efi with dual exhaust. Gotta be a screamer. Wonder what is next the 1 Liter?

How big of a machine do you need? Seriously, this thing is gonna do 75mph+. Too fast on a wheeler for me.

It's actually a 760 and it's supposed to weight 760 lbs. dry.Kawasaki has a 750 Twin that weighs 604 lbs. dry.Power to weight ratio?

Kawasaki's Brute 750 is a screamer. The CC war will never end until the law dictates...LOL

The way I look at it my 650 Honda is more than enough for me pretty much anything bigger is over kill my 650 will most likely do the same things that 800 will do thats my 2 cents

POLARIS needs to work on making their machines lighter other manufacturers have done it...bigger is not better...pretty tough to get machines that large thru the woods.

I think the Polaris rides better than the Hondas, Cats & Kawasaki. The machines don't feel heavy when you ride them, actually they feel quite nice compared to the others. I saw the new '05 Sportsman and it is sweet. Lots of new trinkets that make the machine better. The front rack has been replaced with a standard storage box...pretty cool!

At the ***** fair they didn't have a 800 but they did have a 700 MV. The MV is the mititary varsion which is beefed up to just over 1,000 lbs and has a second fuel tank. List is around $10K on sale at the fair for $8,600.

The new 800 EFI is just 40 pounds shy of the weight limit for all ATV's. If there is ever a 900 or 1,000 it won't be clasified as a ATV it will be more like a ORV.
