Rock Tumbler Question ?

My 4yr old and I got our first tumbler for Christmas.Started step one last night and it's tumbling with the rocks the kit came with.When were done with the first batch of rocks,we were thinking we would use some of the rocks her and I been collecting since she was a yr old.We have tiny size agates and many different shapes and colors of granite.Can I put those in the tumbler and will they have the polished effect like the one's that came with the kit?

You shouldn't have a problem. Remember that those smaller pieces will get even smaller during the first roll. If you have stones that are already smooth, add those into the second roll and go from there. Are your directions asking for a 4 step process?

Darn thing leaked after putting the polish stuff in.We waited even though it was leaking and the last step failed due to a faulty tumbler leak.Checked the rubber ring cleaned it and still leaks.Oh well.I guess It's refund time or maybe an exchange for a new one.Too bad we don't have the box anymore.We ordered it online.
