A yellow lab strolled into my in-laws yard Sunday evening, just north of Perham east of Dead lake on the Becker/Otter Tail county line. After driving around for 2 hours knocking on doors Sunday night I could not locate the owners. Dog had a collar on, but no tag on the caller. We kept the dog in the heated garage overnight. My in-laws were not able to watch the dog, so I dropped the dog off at the Marshmellow Foundation in Detroit Lakes Monday morning on my way back to the cities. Please contact them if you think this may be your dog or let me know if you know someone looking for a missing yellow lab in that area.

The dog was very friendly and didn't appear that it had been out that long, but I checked a majority of houses within a 1/2 radius of their house and was not able to locate the owner. This dog was either dropped or must have ranged a good distance from home to get to where it was found.
