Wheel house frame help

Yamahopper

Recommended Posts

I am "up" building a older pro built frame that had a 3/4 inch bolt for the piviot point for the wheel arm. It will be replaced with a 1-1/2 solid stub but I do not know how much to tip the stub down. I could also do the stubs stright and put the tube in the arm at a ? degree. House is a bare bones house at 6 foot by 10 foot long. The frame, house and gear will not go over 2500#,s if that helps. This is probably a simple standard angle, but I just do not know how to come up with it. Help please.

I just finished re-doing the frame on my house.

For the stub axle camber I had the frame level, and cambered the stubs down so the bubble in the level was juuuuuust a bit over the line.

Much easier to angle your stub down than try and fanagle some type of camber on the bushing in the arm.

I did the same. Pulled it all over the state this summer and it pulled like a dream.
