Rope for your winch?

Has anyone seen or played with the synthetic winch ropes? They go by names like Plasma and AmSteel Blue, and are supposed to be extremely light and durable, as well as avoiding all of the "traditional" wire cable problems such as kinking, fraying, etc.

Just looking for some real life experience!

I had a synthetic rope on mine. I don't remember the name brand. I took it off. I found that even though it's strong and didn't frey, it sure did stretch a lot. Might have been a lesser quality than ones you are looking at, but I didn't like it.
