On Wednesday I seen a pretty good deal on a strike lite 8" auger. The seller had in the add that it was as lightly used and it hasn't been ran in a few seasons. So my first message I sent said still available after the posting had been posting a few hours. I then replied I want it. He relied back with a # so I called and he asked when can you pick it up. We settled on a day and time that I was not available so I had my brother go pick it up. Friday I got a message still on. I replied yup. So the anticipo sets in till I get a message back from my brother. He picked it up at his house. I asked him to send a picture after the deal was done. It showed the little wear very well the auger was super clean. When my brother for home he seen a tear in the fuel line no biggy. Fixed that added new gas new oil. It comes down to this... one pull nothing second pull cough third pull a purring 4 Stoke is now running. I got to use it today and it ran very good as I drilled about 30 holes w/o a cough or sputter. I put a 224 bit under it and it turns it pretty good. The end result 2 happy parties. Best $200 I've spent in a while.

I wasn't sure which way this was going but glad the end result is a happy camper.

With a little patients and a little luck you can score some really good deals on some great used equipment. It's hard to get into that mind set as we have become a now, now, now society.

I scored my boat of the HSO list as well as a couple of trolling motors. All three where great deals on great products.
