I have had my Pro Hunter FX for about a year now and I really have trouble cleaning it completely. The barrel and every thing clean up fine but inside the action, down towards the trigger assembly gets messy and it is hard to clean it. I have even had trouble with the firing pin corroding so bad that it sticks in the fire position after the hammer comes down on it. Has anybody else had trouble cleaning these? Any suggestions getting it all clean?

You could spray some Gun Scrubber in there. That's what I use to get at hard to get at areas.

I have the same gun. I haven't had the firing pin problem you're referring to but did take mine apart for another reason and it was tough! I know the FX is supposed to be a fixed action so you can't swap out the barrels like normal with T/C 's, but I had hoped they'd make it a little more break down friendly than it is.

I can tell ya how mine cleans up in about a week. smile
