Jameson
My wheeler's battery was shot come this last snowfall. The first time I plowed I had to raise the plow in short spurts to have enough power. For the second plow I strapped a car battery to the rear rack and ran wires to the original battery. Is this going to harm anything? Too much power? I had to be careful during the second plow as the blade came up very fast.
Macgyver55
No there isn't too much power, and it shouldn't hurt the wheeler as it will only draw what it needs to run the winch. The main concerns would be that you used heavy enough wire to run the winch, that the battery is secure on the rack and that the wiring is not able to short out on anything. Jameson
Thanks. I think I have those concerns covered, but will give everything another check.
