Installing wood stair treads with railing caps on both sides

I have done it in the past with having to disassemble one side of railing on staircase and done it with running a FEZ saw up the cap and cutting one side off and reattaching it.(fun, fun)

I have done plenty enough sets of wood treads and risers in the past, almost all from skirt to skirt with only 1 cap or none. I was wondering if any one might have a technique in doing them with the double cap without all the hub and bub. Thanks

No easy way to do it that I am aware of. Stairs can be a tough cookie to crumble. I generally try to avoid stair work as much as possible. The ones that I do I make the stuff for myself as I find it easier to build something to fit the way I want it to rather than making pre made parts fit to the staircase.

Thanks, I had my fingers crossed for a super secret. These ones I'm doing are a dosey, 18 treads with 21 risers for a friend. I don't have time to disassemble or courage for that matter on this project. Always look before you leap on projects before you accept. Ugh, I didnt and got burned.

It would be similar to this set. Now the staircase I would be working on have a railing cap and a boat for the wood spindles to sit in . The railing cap extends over the stair tread air space 3/4" on each side. Say the stairs are 41" wide, I have 39 1/2" width to work with, so I cannot just drop a tread into place on the stringer. Railing was constructed well. Glued and nailed accordingly(spindles and parts). I don't see much of an option.
