holmsvc
I was wondering what size hooks come on 1/8 and 1/4 oz buckshot spoons. I have some spoons that need new hooks.
20lbSloughShark
just bring the old hook to the store and compare them. I usually buy one size larger than it came with.
holmsvc
Unfortunately I live 60 miles from a decent store and was hoping to avoid the drive and order online.
hydro
I checked a couple of my lures and compared them to my hook supply and 1/4 oz uses either #8 or #6 and 1/8 oz uses #10 or #8. You can get them through either Jann's Netcraft or Barlows (do a search). I prefer to use 1X strong versions if I can find them in order to lessen bending on removal. Round bend Mustads are what comes on the lures.

20lbSloughShark
If I remember right, a #10, or #8 should work fine.
hydro
Here is a 1/4 oz Buckshot with a #4 Siwash single hook, and #8, #6 and #4 trebles. Your call on what size to use. The #8 is what came on the lure when purchased. (1/4" squares)
20lbSloughShark
a bigger siwash is definitely something to consider. I use them on all the pike lures I can to protect the fish. I tend to use all trebles on panfish because I eat those, but there really isn't a drawback to a single hook.
