Vexilar FL8 Transducers

I have an older FL8 with a bad transducer that I'd like to pass down the line to my son. The flasher works fine. I've been shopping around for a used transducer. I can find 12s and 18s, but I haven't found an 8. Are these transducers interchangeable?

All vexilar transducers are interchangeable.

you can get a 9 degree, 12 degree, 19 degree or the tri beam (8,12,20 degree) or the Proview.

Brads right on the ball, the only difference is the old style is a metal connector and the new, plastic. Still interchangeable.

I've got a really old FL8 that was handed down to me and it had the bubble level on the transducer. I scrapped that thing and put a tri-beam on it, and it works awesome. I'd suggest looking around for the best price online and then calling your local sporting goods store and seeing if they will price match the price. I did that with Scheels - got the deal I wanted and didn't have to wait for the product to show up on my door.

I got a New Transducer at Fleet Farm, of all places. The price was right so I just picked it up as a spare.
