Tamron 17-50 Di II f2.8 VC for Canon Test Result Images

Recommended Posts

I made a short trip over to the Blue Stem Nature Conservancy today to test out my new lens. So far I would say I am happy. Using a Canon XTI, Tamron 17-50F Di II f2.8 VC Lense and the new Promaster HGx digital UV filter. All hand held, various aperature settings. Best part of this lens is the f2.8 is through out the entire length of the lens. If anyone is interested in one of these, XYZ camera shop (with multiple locations in the subarbs) in the cities had some factory refurbs on had for $430 and add a 7yr ext warranty for $30. I think its a keeper.

Please let me know what you think (minus the poor processing on the oxbow image). My favorite was the tree pic #4, of the ones I processed.

Ah Yes, the ol Fort Ransom, know the area well. Been working around that area, among others for years. On the road at least half the week working for some random farmer, doctor, banker, school, church etc
