bassNspear
where do y'all go around the st cloud area. I never had the time to go last two years around here as i am always up north for the 2 months i have off, but now that i have a permanent spear house, i want put it on a lake around the st cloud area. Closer the better so i don't have to worry about a long drive.thanks

Rick G
There are areas on both lakes that have decent water clarity. On Julia it's on the 5-6ft flat over by the channel that leads to Briggs, I sight fish pannies there quite a bit, it stay clean till Late Jan. On Briggs there is the bayou, or the flat just outside of it. I know a couple guys that spear in there all winter, and do pretty well for what their after . There is also the area all the way across the lake from the access, around the Briggs creek inlet, this small 10ft deep basin also has better water clarity than the rest of the lake
