Oil to use for 2002 Honda Foreman 450 ES

I need to change my differential oil. I can't find my manual of course. What should I use? Also is there any trick to it? I have never done this myself.

I can't recall the specs, but when I got my used 03 450ES I just went to dealer and asked for everything I needed to completely change everything, fluid and filters. The diff lube was pretty cheap and doesn't take much. I think you just need to remove a skid plate of some sort, and drain, then fill until it tops out, then replace filler plug and skid plate... if I recall correctly... That was rear, can't recall the front exactly, and atv is at cabin so I can't look. I also didn't have manual, just went by what the parts guy told me. Good luck!

That's what I did for my Grizz. I had the choice between synthetic and conventional and went with Amsoil synthetic. It doesn't take much, I have enough left over for another change!
