Dahitman44
I am finishing a new house and there are a lot of options out there now. It is a 6.5 x 16 with a V.
Redlineracer12
I would recommend forced air direct vent. I have the Atwood 18k in my 6.5x12+V and I like it. House stays nice and dry and air is circulated well.
Luzbel
Hi Redliner12, Is that heater of yours noisy at night when you are trying to sleep?? Also how long would on average a deep cycle battery would last running the heater(blower)?? I am also in the process of building my house and I cant decide for either the type you have or the conventional vented ones..

It's not that it's noisy, but the kicking on/off is somewhat of a nuisance for the person sleeping closest to it. When its running it's actually a pretty nice background noise (I like the generator background noise even more ). The longest I have gone without a generator would be a 3-4 hour evening running heat/lights/radio/etc, then another 8 hour day of fishing (no lights since it was during the day, but included some radio and TV usage off inverter), before it started to act low a few hours into the third morning. This was an extremely cold/windy weekend with little to no banking, so I think it was about the most my furnace would ever run. I would estimate the heater alone to last one full day on a single battery charge.
hunter76
Forced air. I always had a wall mount but would have to have a fan blowing the air to the back. Got an 8x21 ice castle with forced air now. Its the only way to go.
