Flasher Interference Question

I fish out of an Ice Cabin wheel house. Whenever I use a generator I get severe interference on my flashers. It seems to be worse with my FL-20 than with my Lx-6 but both are bad. The generator is a Boliy 3600 Inverter. Has anyone else had these problems in a wheel house using a generator? Thanks

my marcum lx-7 did not have these problems in a friends house the couple times i fished with a geni on. his vex didn't like me tho

I have never had a problem with my LX-5 while running my generator. I have the Honda 2000.

I run a honda 1000 inverter style and have used lx-7, lx-9, lx-5 and showdown and never had even a slight issue. I run a 50' cord maybe that's helps.

There should be an "R" in the number somewhere I believe.

I remember riding my snowmobile and messing up TVs in people's cabins/homes because it didnt have the resister plugs. Most "small" engines come with these now, but your's may not have.

Thanks for the tip. Do they make a R plug for every spark plug? Where do I find them?

They should. NGK is about the best brand for smaller motors. It may have come with some other brand, but you can go to an auto parts store and they can cross ref it for ya.
