Winter ATV device

I've only seen it in a catalog, and never heard any feedback. It is a set of skis that you can mount on the front wheels of a rear wheel drive ATV, or one where you can manually override the front wheels. Anyone use these, heard of them, or got feedback?

I've seen them in ads but have never personally tried them. I don't think they'd work very well.

Why would you want them? With no snow, you don't need them and with snow, being only a two-wheel drive, would not be too great for traction.

I'd rather have the front wheels rolling rather than trying to push the complete front of the ATV with skies on.

Dave, I'm also interested in these. I have a 2 wheel drive, and when you get into any amount of snow the front tires don't roll, they plow. I think the ski's maybe will help to support the front a little and let the rear's (with chains) work more efficiently. This is only my theory, not sure if they be worth squat, but I sure hope somebody does.
