LeDoctaire
Thanks for the heads up on the auger. I will make sure my son-in-law knows before he starts it. Are you going to be at the big ice fishing show in December?
nofishfisherman
What I'd like to see are seminars focused more on fish behaviour. Explaining where fish might be given certain time of year or certain types of conditions. Perhaps with suggestions on how best to fish under the different scenarios proposed. Thats knowledge that I can apply to real life and modify based on the gear and equipment I have. The last seminar I attened was by one of the big name guys. Basically he taught us how he used his $20,000 dollars worth of gear to catch fish. He didn't talk about why the fish where there or how he got them to bite. It was all about the gear and not about the fish. The impression I got from most of the people in the crowd was "well thats great for you but I don't have most of that stuff". There wasn't much practical knowledge that could be taken from the seminar unless you had a similar set up as him which I'll bet no one attending had. Corey Bechtold
We should be there! I think I'm working the Hardwater Expo in Blaine as well. Both are good shows. I liked the one in Blaine last year because 1- it's closer and 2- you didn't have to pay for parking. Hope to see you at one of the shows. Be sure to find me and say "hi"!Good fishing,Corey Bechtold
