Was happy to see that wrestling will be back in the olympics in 2020. I don't follow wrestling at all, but still believe it's a vital sport for the olympics. Was 2016 going to be the last olympics to have wrestling, or will it not be in the olympics then, and then return in 2020? On an even better note, baseball (and softball) will return in 2020 as well smile

I agree that wrestling is a vital sport for the Olympics. I had a hard time believing they cancelled it, but they sure caught a lot of flack over it. Not just from the U.S. either. Both Russia and Iran howled over this and threatened not to compete. It was a personal victory too. Wrestling is big here in Iowa and I started at an early age. Played a bit of football too but wrestling was my main sport throughout school.

Very glad to see this return. I think the rest of the world spoke up about this, not just the US.

I really enjoy watching high school and college wrestling, and am glad to see the athletes will have another level to strive for.

Remember: Girls play volleyball, boys play basketball, men wrestle.
