Kayak Trout Fishing, Platoro, CO

For Labor Day weekend, Kerri and I loaded up the kayaks and headed to Southern CO. A small town with a nice 1,000 acre reservoir that was home to many feisty fish who we eager to play. Over the few days there, we spent a lot of time on the water and caught mostly Rainbow trout, but we did manage a handful of Kokanee salmon, Brown trout, and even a surprise Lake trout. Another great weekend on the water!
