erikwells
While you are filling your 30 grease fittings take a look at you front end to make sure the wheels don't fall off.

Gissert
Erik -Excuse me? Is there really something we should be looking at, or are you just taking a cheap shot?
Satchmo
What he is attempting to make light of is the recall on 2002 Arctic Cat ATV's ball joint failures in the front ends. erikwells
Sorry for the cheapshot. I guess that I am used to some good natured banter with my bother. Seriously Polaris has two models (I have forgotten which two) that have a recall on the front end ball joints. Be sure you get it checked out with you dealer to avoid any problems. Gissert
Erik -I am pretty sure that it is Cat that has the ball joint recall that Satchmo mentioned. I saw an article in the paper a couple of days ago about it. When I was shopping for quads back in June, a Yamaha/Cat dealer steered me clear of the Cats due to the upcoming ball joint recall. Benny
I worked with a guy who was an engineer for the company that Artic cat gets there ball joints from.He told me 4 years ago there would be major problems with them, he saw the owner of this twin cities shop order ball joints from China and rebox them here in the cities as made in America.Artco (parent company to artic cat) found out and sent thier reps here to see, the shop owner just took them all on a Canadian fishing trip to get them to look the other way.I wish I had kept in contact with that engineer, so I could say thanks for the warning.Thats why I bought a Polaris and a Honda.Just my two cents, Benny
