Vermilion Tips and Techniques

Howdy Guys,

I'm heading up to Vermilion at the end of the month, and I was wondering if anyone can share any well know techniques or areas of the lake that produce good numbers of smallmouth. Not looking for any secrets, just want to whack a few decent bass while i'm up there.

KFAN had an outdoor show last night talking about how the reefs out in front of Mckinley Park produce fish. Also, sucker minnows. The guy swore by them with a simple lindy rig.

There is a gas station in Tower right before the park that sells minnows.

Im headed there too. I can't wait. I've had good luck with topwater and tubes.
