Any recent reports from Mille Lacs ??

Anybody got positive news on the smallmouth fishing on Mille Lacs in the last week?

Heard from a guide it was really slow last weekend and beginning of the week with the cold front that came through. Bite should pick up though.

We were on the lake on Saturday from 9am to 4pm, caught 20 smallies , one 20 incher, three 19's,and the rest nice 17-19 inchers....It was rough fishing, with rain, wind and cool temps, but, we stuck to rocky areas on the northwest corner....Not a great day but fun nonetheless.Used small jigs and tubes,staying on or close to the bottom.

How deep were the rocks?

15 feet and shallower....Find the rocks, the smallies are there or nearby.
