85 GMC 4x4

So im in the process of installing a 4" lift in my 85. I was dropping the front axle out last night and i noticed after disconnecting the vent line from the diff that the line goes up towards the bottom of the engine compartment for a ways then turns into a hard line and takes off somewhere. Anybody know exactly where that ends up?

Seems to me it goes up and attaches somewhere up or on or near the radiator shroud if my failing memory serves me.
