SpikeRoberts
From the StarTribune:Tony Cornish, president of the Conservation Officers Association, a union that represents more than 150 game wardens at the DNR, was critical of the DNR's plans to spend more money on enforcement of ATV trail rules. The proposal is "ill-conceived and dangerous," he said, because it would rely on natural resource officers -- who have less authority and training -- instead of conservation officers. Dave
I took Spike's suggestion about ATV Clubs planting trees to heart. I wondered if any MN club does this already. I honestly didn't think about doing this. Did a simple search and sure enough......."We try to be an environmentally conscious club. We participate in highway litter pick up through Adopt-a-Highway and we plant thousands of trees each spring on public lands.
