Proskier2038
With the early goose season just around the corner I have started scouting- but in the west metro I am not seeing a lot for ducks or geese.... Plenty of city honkers around but not seeing much in the country. As for ducks I'm seeing a lot of wooducks but that's about it :(I know they say #'s are up but in the chaska area I'm just not seeing it. Wondering if the wet spring had its toll on the nests... Anybody else seeing Better numbers? The farther northwest I go the better things seem to be... At least in terms of ducks/ ducklings
TylerS
Still a bit early yet. You'll see more ducks as the summer progresses. I'm guessing there were more late clutches this year because of the weather, so the little'uns are mama are hiding in the reeds. They're there, you just don't know it... Ninja ducks. HunterLee
Seems to be plenty but not much flying until almost dark and still a good amount of tiny recently hatched ones. I drive by the lagoon almost everyday and see some as small as baseballs and some 3/4 grown
