we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted October 13, 2004 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted October 13, 2004 The Minnesota Waterfowl Association has a mission of protecting, restoring and enhancing habitat. Project efforts benefit migratory waterfowl and other wetland wildlife. The MWA is non-profit organization that survives through fundraising. The Dakota Great Swamp Chapter of the Minnesota Waterfowl Association is currently planning it's annual fundraising banquet, to be held February 26th, 2004. This is the single primary fundraising event for the entire year. It consists of a dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, and a gun raffle; these exciting elements are the draw to attend the event, and tickets to the event provide the fundraising revenue for the organization. As in years past, we are soliciting contibutions for this event from businesses who are concerned about preserving our natural resources. Anything you could offer in the form of a raffle prize/door prize, silent or live auction item would be sincerely appreciated, and your business would be recognized as a contributor at our banquet. In addition, this is a great way to showcase any new products you may have. Of course we accept cash donations as well This year's banquet has some very exciting elements to it, with some pretty famous personalities volunteering to attend. But we sincerely need the help of any businesses out there that are willing. If you think you can help out in any way or have any questions, please contact [email protected] (kpj5br on FM)Thanks

kpj5br
Hi all, it's been a while since I updated this post, but this banquet is coming up next month.I wanted to invite you all to attend, many great sponsors game through, and we will have a ton of raffle and auction items, including guns, waterfowl prints signed ONSITE by artist David Maass who will be receiving the MWA Lifetime Achievement Award that night. My email is up above in the posts, but I'll put it here again just in case. The regular advertisement for this goes out next week, and we expect a sell-out quickly, so this is an opportunity for the fishingmn community to get first dibs. Thanks, and hope to see you there supporting minnesota's waterfowl and hunting habitat!Jon[email protected]
