I thought you couldn't shoot cans till the 15th of this month I could,ve a nice bull on sat but couldn't cuz of the limited short season

man set the drag, if i wouldn't passed on a bull can on saturday because i wasn't sure of the season, I would be kicking myself hardcore right now...

If you don't mind, what was the general area you were hunting on saturday the 9th?
My goal for this season is to shoot a bull can for the wall.

I was on middle lake north of nicollet just on the west side of wiwi bay. It didn't matter with me passing it up. I already have one on the wall. I'm sure i'll get another chance at one this weekend with the big push from the wind.

Now I just wish I woud've pulled the trigger. "but when in doubt don't"

You'll likely get a few chances around here later in the season. We see some nearly every year but not usually until the last week in October into November.
