Ice castle VS Salem ice cabin

Im getting into a crankdown this winter,havent done a lot of research, but some an most has been from word of mouth. Which one would go with and why an which one wouldn't you go with an why. ive seen the post from B-man on ice castle frame an that's what spurge tis question. Thanks for any replies.

I took 2 years of research and talking to a ton of people. I went with the ice castle. just a better name and there quality is way better!

Ok but what about the product that sold you on it, axel? frame? interior? exterior? Ect...they look pretty but....you know

I was asking the same question and after looking at both I went with the Ice Cabin. I've had it going on 4 years and no problems what so ever. It's got a very heavy duty axle, pulls very smooth and good quality interior. Coates RV in Forest Lake has a nice selection to view:

Nice Shack Nordern. Is that on Mille lacs on Appledorns road ? Ive been doing Lots of research as well and the Ice Cabin is the one Im going with as well this fall HOPEFULLY .

Yes, It is out of Appledoorn's Resort. They do such a great job there. They even keep a large parking area cleared by the landing to park your wheelhouse so you do not have to tow it home if you are coming back next week. Of course there are piers in this area now:

That's a sweet deal, park your house in front of Appledorn's web cam so you can keep an eye on it while you are away, nice.

I have an ice castle and my neighbor has a ice cabin... Overall I like mine for pulling and room, I have a v front while he has a flat one. I like his inside better although his was professionally done and we finished our personally. I wish he had bought his prior to me finishing mine as I would have changed a few things like the carpet vs the non skid floor. Overall I think both are good units it is a ford chevy kind of discussion, IMO. Now I am looking at the Yetis and the all aluminum frames... that is something i want to consider now that mine has some rust starting that i have to take care of...

All I know is I would make sure that I get one with the V-front. If you are going to pull it often. I have pulled both and the V-front is much nicer for pulling.
